Country Week clash

by
January 17, 2018

AFTER a long absence, Bendigo Country Week Cricket will return to Heathcote tomorrow.

Northern United Cricket Association will take on Upper Loddon in the game at the Barrack Reserve starting at 10am.

Country week will be played at various locations in and around Bendigo and is split into four divisions. The competition started on Monday and tomorrow’s match at Barrack Reserve will be on the last day of competition before finals are decided.

A Country Week game has not been held in Heathcote for more than five years and organisers are hoping a decent crowd will make its way down to Barrack Reserve to witness the clash.

As usual the oval and surrounds are in pristine condition which is a credit to dedicated council employee and groundsman Terry Canfield.

Refreshments will be available all day and spectators are most welcome.
