HEATHCOTE Football Netball Club is calling for new recruits.

And there’s a spot for everyone in the junior club, from members to volunteers.

With the pristine Barrack Reserve facilities now up and running, club president Craig Pringle said it was the ideal time to get some fresh ideas and talent on board.

The club is looking for boys and girls to sign up for U10, U12 and U14 football sides, as well as junior footy coaches and umpires for field, boundary and goal.

As part of the coming annual general meeting, all committee positions will also be classed as open, including president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.

The club is also looking to fill the positions of canteen co-ordinator and fundraising co-ordinator.

‘‘It’s a fantastic bunch of people holding the club together at the moment. It’s a great community club and it certainly brings the town together,’’ Mr Pringle said.

The club’s annual general meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at the Barrack Reserve meeting room from 7pm.
